Jose’s receives the

As many of you have already heard the forty four year old Chelsea manager Jose Mouriniho, also known as the ‘special one’, has left the almighty blues. Some say it was by mutual agreement but others maintain quit. However, my personal opinion is that he was told by the club that he had a certain amount of time to turn it around after their third consecutive game without a win. Playing poorly in their game against Aston Villa, they left keeper Scott Carson with too little to do, and suffered a 2-0 defeat in consequence. Their game before this against Blackburn was tight with both teams working hard for the point they won, finally drawing 0-0. To cap this all off Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge against Norwegian side Rossenburg he decided to leave. I assume it was just too much for the great manager.

Rumours are spreading that Mouriniho phoned Frank Lampard and sent texts to the rest of his players saying that he was going to leave the club. The ex- manager led the club to some silverware which included two Premier League titles, two Fa Cup victories and a Carling Cup win.

So what are they going to do without him?

Since Jose left, his replacement is Avram Grant who managed the team in their first outing post Mouriniho against the champions, Manchester United. Unfortunately, the team was too distracted about what was going on off the pitch so they lost 2-0.

What I think is an outrage is that Managers can be in charge of a team one day and if they lose a couple of matches can be kicked out the next. All because a rich owner wants to make more and more money. These are people’s lives they are dealing with. Will Avram be able to turn around Chelsea and bring them out of the slums? Or will he fail?
